			Schroder Ventures US Fails to Close Merger with Xentel CALGARY, ALBERTA, May 30, 2003 - Xentel DM Incorporated (TSX Venture Exchange: XDM), announced today that Schroder Ventures US unexpectedly delivered a notice of termination after the close of markets on May 29, 2003 notifying Xentel, Michael Platz and Geoffrey Pickering that it would not close the merger transaction entered into with the Company and Messrs. Platz and Pickering. Xentel and Messrs. Platz and Pickering are reviewing the contents and import of such notice and are considering their options and remedies. This termination has no effect on the Company’s ongoing operations and it will continue to pursue its strategy of U.S.-based acquisitions. The Company will update shareholders on further developments in this regard. The Company will announce first quarter results next week. The TSX Venture Exchange has neither approved nor disapproved the contents of this announcement.
