			Michelle Wright has over 30 major music industry awards to her credit and a string of 24 Top Ten hits on radio, including seven Number One singles. The first Canadian-born artist in the modern era of country music to have a Top Ten hit in the U.S., to have a Number One video on CMT, and to win an Academy of Country Music Award, Michelle has been recognized from the outset for her expressive voice and distinctive style. Her latest CD release, Shut Up and Kiss Me, crosses over into contemporary musical realms, broadening not only her repertoire but her fan base as well. This concert is a chance to share a powerful, hit-filled performance with one of Canada’s greatest vocal talents. In 1996, Thomas Wade and his band-mates, collectively known as Thomas Wade and Wayward, released a self-titled CD and scored six Top Forty hits. With the release of the CD came nominations and awards at the CCMA’s and the Junos. Thomas moved on from Wayward and released his debut solo album in 1999, Lucky 13. Thomas then released a retrospective CD in late 2001, aptly titled So Far, containing most of the chart-topping singles he is known for. In addition, he has spent time focusing on his writing, and recently released a new original CD. No one can accuse this tremendously talented artist of standing still!
