Xentel		.	Grupo Vida
			Grupo Vida was the former band behind the sound and excitement of Eddie Gonzalez's best selling record, "Kick It." They are the most exciting live band in Tejano music. As Ramiro Burr said, "When this group burst on the scene a couple of years ago, Vida demonstrated that they were far ahead of the herd with original songs, arrangements, and superb execution on stage." Grupo Vida is Art Tigerina, vocals; Manny Gonzalez on bass; Jason Martinez, guitar; Javier Sauceda, keyboards; Tim Villanueva, drums; and of course Sunny Sauceda, the 1997 TTMA Accordion Player of the Year. Gruop Vida's first CD on Tejas Records entitled "VIDA" featured the #1 hit, "Sin Buenas Condiciones" written by Sunny Sauceda. The single "Sin Buenas Condiciones" reached #1 for four weeks in Radio & Musica. Their newest release is entitled SIN CONTROL. This CD is by far their best effort to date. The title track explores the limits of what an accordion is capable of producing. SIN CONTROL is not your average CD. It contains tracks ranging from fast energetic Vida style ranchera, intriguing cumbias, to guitar ripping rock songs. In correspondence with the release of the CD, Tejas Records is producing the first full-length video containing 10 videos, behind the scenes footage and interviews with each of the band members. This rare video will be available in your local record stores. Grupo Vida are the 1997 TTMA "Showband of the Year," the 1998 TEMA "Showband of the Year," and Art Tigerina is the 1998 TEMA "Rising Star Male Vocalist of the Year." The live stage is where this band gains its well deserved respect. There is not one live band in this market that has the energy and moves like Vida. Tejas Records plans to put all of its energy into making Grupo Vida a household name. Both Hohner Accordions and Miller Lite must agree as they both signed Vida to full endorsement deals. In the short time that they have been with Tejas, this group has already gained a great deal of momentum in both radio and in the press. Grupo Vida's fan base is growing daily. The word of mouth on their live show and energetic sound has spread quickly throughout the country and in Mexico. Their debut CD "Vida" is headed for Gold and that's a great place to start for a new group! Their newest release SIN CONTROL is already in the top ten and is headed for #1!
