Xentel		.	A Christmas Carol

This jubilant holiday musical is for all audiences. Dickens' timeless classic is beautifully staged with a superbly talented cast. It is the perfect holiday event for the whole family to enjoy. American Family Theatres' award winning production of "A Christmas Carol" has thrilled audiences of all ages nationwide with spectacle, song and special effects. Our tale begins in Victorian London, where Ebeneezer Scrooge operates Scrooge's counting house with the help of his tireless assistant, Bob Cratchit. Scrooge's motto is "a penny saved is one more for me" and this extends to Mr. Cratchit, who doesn't even have enough money to purchase a Christmas goose for his wife, Ellie, and their son, Tiny Tim. To make matters worse, Tiny Tim is very ill and needs medical attention badly. The local society dame, Fiona Dalrymple, stops by Scrooge's counting house collecting alms for the poor on Christmas Eve. Scrooge refuses to give even one farthing leaving Fiona no choice but to tell Ebeneezer that he will be sorry that he didn't give to the poor this Christmas. Fiona's prophecy soon comes true as four apparitions visit Scrooge the same evening. Each ghost in his or her own way shows Scrooge the true meaning of Christmas. American Family Theater's "A Christmas Carol" remains true to the tone of Charles Dickens' classic tale while celebrating the spirit of Christmas and is a sure-fire way to guarantee holiday merriment for the whole family.
